eyes in the back

project title: "the rig"

is to be experienced: as a video on screen

idea:the idea about building a rig which is to be worn on the back and which ha the purpose of filming from that angle came from the interest in not being in control of the object in sight. The back if the body is hidden from the subject itself but is very exposed for the outside world. it is sensitive to judgement and subject of "talking behind peoples backs". it is also a general wonderment for me to experience having eyes in the back of my head and to see how people act when they think no one is looking.
